    Studies Class 8 Maths Class 8 Science ASSET Exam Practice Questions Std 9 Class 9 English Class 9 Social Studies Class 9 Science Class 9 Maths Gallery Photo Albums Past Teacher s Videos Past Teacher s Videos 1 Past Teacher s Videos 2 Sachin Tendulker Download Alumni Home Events Events INVESTITURE OATH CEREMONY 2015 16 21 Jul 2015 Shree Amulakh Amichand Bhimji Vividhalakshi Vidyalaya held their Investiture and Oath Ceremony of the elected and selected students of the school Parliament and the House system on June 26 2015 in the Samtabai Hall with great enthusiasm The guests were our own Principal Mrs Uma Chaudhary and the Supervisors of both the mediums Mrs Elsy George and Mrs Harshida Mehta The ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic session 2015 16 for the students and the teachers Every year the elections are conducted in the month of June This year elections were held on 23rd June by the secret Ballot system and later the results were declared Thus the procedure was a democratic and transparent one Our school consists of the Parliament and the House System It is the Parliament of the students by the students and for the students The school s motto being Youth Shall Reshape the World the students at Amulakh are given an additional responsibility for example there are different portfolios assigned to the students Some are appointed as the Education Minister Cleanliness Minister Sports Minister etc thereby helping them to overcome their fear become more mature and emerge as great leaders Our beloved Principal Mrs Uma Chaudhary administered the Oath to the newly elected School s President Miss Solia Vaishali Later the President administered the oath to the other elected members of the school Parliament and the House Systems They promised to disburse their duties

    like Bhagwandas Harakhchand Kushaldas Kurji Parekh Trambaklal Amulakh Girdharlal Ugarchand Parikh Madhavlal Hiralal Pitambardas Phulchand and Muljibhai Narshidas whole heartedly and enthusiastically participated in this educational endeavour In 1950 GKM laid the foundation stone of a spacious school building The school was named Shri Amulakh Amichand Bhimji Vividhalakhshi Vidyalaya as it started with a generous donation from Sheth Shri Amulakh Amichand Bhimji The school building was nicely designed with well ventilated and well lit classrooms well equipped rooms for educational activities like auditorium library science lab play ground and excellent infra structure for extracurricular activities It also had large Technical Workshops In the year 1953 Shree A A B V V Gujarati medium started imparting education A learned academician Shri Solibhai Pavri was appointed as the founder principal of the school He along with educationist Shri Girdharbhai Ugarchand Parikh created Balmandir which followed the Montessori Method of learning and was one of the best Balmandir in this area School was named Vividhlakshi Vidyalaya as the visionary management who were far sighted and enlightened in education envisaged a unique multipurpose school that had a curriculum which was beyond the normal and routine academics They started three streams in academics i e Arts Commerce and Technical To make learning more meaningful and skill based there were a variety of hobbies to suit each student s creative ability It not only engrossed the students but made them enthusiastically participate in it These hobbies were career oriented that helped the students to choose their career NCC Band Tours and Trips were organized Festivals were celebrated with pomp and gaiety that instilled cultural amity team building and other values in the students The uniqueness of the school got spread around and brought in many famous personalities leaders and educationists to visit the school The then Prime Minister of India Shri Lalbahadur Shastri Shri Morarjibhai Desai Shri S K Patil and many eminent leaders and dignitaries visited the school Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Film Division of India made a documentary on the school The School of Tomorrow In 1971 Shri Bhavanji Arjan Khimji Swadhyay Bhavan an unique school which believed in the concept of Self Learning was started Standard class rooms were changed to subject rooms Normal class room sitting was changed to group sitting Students were encouraged to raise questions and find their own answers under the guidance of the teachers who acted as facilitators In the year 1985 with changing time and demand for an English medium school Shri Ishwardas Haridas Bhatia an English medium Pre Primary Primary School was started Eventually Shree A A B V V English medium school affiliated to SSC board was started In 2007 with a growing demand for an ICSE school Management started an ICSE proposed school as Swadhyay Bhavan School The Management and the Principal are both putting in great efforts to acquire affiliation from the ICSE board for this school and are optimist to get it soon Today the school has wide spectrum of educational
