    isn t about losing weight because I haven t for months so I ve turned my focus onto bodyfat I got measured on one of those machines at the gym yesterday and was shocked to be told I was 41 bodyfat LOL So my goal for July is to reduce that by the end of the month What s everyone else s goals for July http uk atkins com community forums thread 136152 joyful july dis post 228800 Wed 01 Jul 2015 01 32 45 0000 http uk atkins com community forums thread 136152 joyful july dis post 228800 http uk atkins com community forums thread 135968 atkins app is so confusing dis post 227200 Does anyone else find the App confusing For instance unsweetened soya milk 100ml is 0 2 on the website carb counter but it is a whooping 3 8 on the APP Can somebody please help I am jotting down everything I eat to keep track of my carbs intake and the App would be much more useful if it made more sense HEEEEELLLLLPPPP http uk atkins com community forums thread 135968 atkins app is so confusing dis post 227200 Fri 19 Jun 2015 09 57 10 0000 http uk atkins com community forums thread 135968 atkins app is so confusing dis post 227200 http uk atkins com community forums thread 135824 really struggling dis post 225868 I m going on holiday next week a few months ago started trying to get bikini ready for my holiday I m not hugely overweight but have yo yo d up and down most of my adult life I came across various High Fat Low Carb lifestyles and decided to try them out Wow what a difference they made me feel Much more balanced generally none of this up down sugar highs and lows which made me feel tired and sluggish and feel like life is generally hard work I know this is the lifestyle I want to live not just for the fact that I lose inches weight but for the health benefits I have seen and read about as well I did lose weight but noticed more in my clothes and inches I lost I started doing some interval training on my spinning cycle felt great Then I crashed not sure what made me crash but I just have not been able to get myself back out of this binge eating cycle ever since I am a recovered alcoholic of 14 years and don t even think about drink these days but food has become a complete obsession I ve tried to use the lessons I ve learnt in AA to help me with this problem but it is much more difficult to abstain from food than it is alcohol I know the best course of action for me is to abstain from sugars and refined carbs as it is these that seem to start my binge off It starts in my head first though I know I m going to do it I ve already made up my mind I m going to go to that shop and buy that tub of ice cream or chocolate bar or whatever so I know that s what I need to work on I ve just had a discussion with my partner of 7 yrs I asked him if I get him down sometimes because when I m in this place I m not much fun to be around as I m distant and my head is totally dealing with my food addiction problem He was honest in his answer and said it s like being part of an on going maelstrom I go round and round in circles with this problem He does his best to encourage me to be fit and eat well and is supportive As I said I m not massively overweight but am uncomfortable with myself I have quite a stressful and intense job and have had quite a bit of tragic loss over the past years I ve dealt with all that best as I can and some of it still bothers me What I would really like is to be at peace with myself and not have my life ruled by my food and weight obsessions Sorry I seemed to have poured my heart out a bit tonight I m sat here typing with a belly full of carbs sugar again feeling stuffed and uncomfortable yet again feeling a bit of desperation and just wondering if there is anyone else out there that struggles and feels like I do sometimes I know the theory but putting it all into practice is a completely different ball game Thanks for listening reading Kim http uk atkins com community forums thread 135824 really struggling dis post 225868 Sun 14 Jun 2015 02 19 45 0000 http uk atkins com community forums thread 135824 really struggling dis post 225868 http uk atkins com community forums thread 135394 flaming june page 15 dis post 225186 So mine are 1 By the end of June I intend to be at my lowest weight so far which is 199lbs 2 30 days of phase one clean eating even if there are birthdays meals out and any other impromptu stuff that rears its head 3 Stay away from the scales until 1st July apart from the May weigh in oh and just to bore the pants off you all I intend for my own accountability to post my days eating each day which please feel free to comment on or ignore If you care to join me please do If you want to set your own goals please do Oh and if you care to ignore me please do Lol http uk atkins com community forums thread 135394 flaming june page 15 dis post 225186 Tue 09 Jun 2015 04 09 15 0000 http uk atkins com community forums thread 135394 flaming june page 15 dis post 225186 http uk
