    when and why did you start riding I followed by father s footsteps as a rider and at the age 14 I rode my first domestic RR race What was your first bike Honda RS 125 cc When did you know motorbike racing is your thing I had it in my blood The decision was done at a mature age of 4 years Later on after the race season of 2001 and after my first season at the European Championship series I realized I actually can ride for a living and be successful doing it Greatest accomplishment as a motorbike racer Three times Vice World Champion 2 x 125cc and once Moto2 One word to describe the feeling when riding On the Edge Best motorbike related memory Donington 2008 250cc race making my way up to win the race from place 14 at the starting grid after a weekend of enormous problems This taught me that everything is possible in this field of sports and one should never ever give up when difficulties arise 3 words to describe yourself as a rider Analytical tactical and hungry What is the longest time you haven t been on your bike I had to rest for two months after my shoulder operation in 2010 Luckily I never missed a race since the operation was done during the winter break How many travel days do you get in a year 230 250 depending on the year What are you doing when you are not on tour I try to spend time with my family and work with my own Finnish team Kallio Racing We try to help young Finnish talents on their road racing career mostly in the national and European Championship level I also enjoy all possible watersports during the summer and snowmobiling
