    From the very first day of his football career he has always played with the yellow and red shirt It comes as no surprise that he is a player who honours the shirt with maximum determination Ryan is considered to be a technical midfielder and thanks to his willpower he has managed to achieve his dream when at the tender age of sixteen he was included as a substitute with the Premier League side Birkirkara Season 2009 2010 Scicluna was first seen as part of the senior squad under the guidance of Mr Paul Zammit and despite his very young age he is finding enough opportunities to leave his mark His Premier League debut arrived on Sunday 9th January 2010 when our team beat Dingli Swallows with a 2 0 score line and from then onwards he never looked back In his first year where he featured with the senior squad Ryan had the privilege of experiencing his first premier league victory as on Friday 30th April Birkirkara were declared Champions for the 2009 2010 season while five days later on Wednesday 5th May The Stripes received the well deserved title which befit the whole team including Ryan s hard work throughout the season In the UEFA Competitions Ryan was included as a substitute in the last five minutes of the historic win that Birkirkara managed to achieve on Tuesday 13th July Birkirkara managed to accomplish nearly the impossible as in the 1st leg of the 2nd round of the Champions League they were able to beat MSK Zilina with a 1 0 result Birkirkara were the first Maltese team to win a 2nd round game in this competition and therefore the honour for a youngster like Ryan who was included in this important and historical match is one to be acknowledged Season 2010 2011 Ryan began to form part of the Senior team in the 2010 2011 season and it was a positive season for him He made 12 appearances and in half of them he started the match while in the other six he was included a substitute A remarkable achievement for him in that season was his first goal ever in the Premier which arrived in the fourth match of the Championship Pool against Marsaxlokk which was played on 12th March when he scored the first goal of the game In this game Birkirkara won the match by a score of 4 1 His first goal with The Stripes shirt arrived at a triangular tournament on the 3rd July when against Marsaxlokk Ryan scored the last and winning goal with the final result reading 3 2 Season 2011 2012 The 2011 2012 season was a fantastic one for this promising youngster as he established himself as a very talented player who even managed to win a regular place with the First Team Ryan made 23 appearances in the Premier League 18 of which were from the start and in the other five he was included as a

    midfielders Paul Fenech and Rowen Muscat while Ryan Camenzuli seemed tireless down the left channel Coach Tedesco fielded a 4 2 3 1 formation shifting to an attacking 4 3 3 when in possession Haber defended the posts with the solid duo of central defenders Mazzetti and Vukanac Zach Muscat and Joseph Zerafa patrolled the side backs Edmond Agius Rowen Muscat and Paul Fenech continually interchanged their positions in midfield while Camenzuli and Morais started on the wings supporting striker Plut The First Half Ulisses imposed possession in the opening stages as they pressed high and took an aggressive approach They had their first scoring chance after five minutes when from a cross from the left wing David Khurtsizde had his shot ending over The Stripes settled as time went by Inspired by the excellent start of Fenech in midfield they began to push forward with Muscat allowed to push forward as the tireless midfielder covered countless distance Rowen Muscat showed vision to lob the ball over the defence in the direction of Vito Plut on the run but goalkeeper Beglaryan closed him down as he rushed out of his position to stop the danger Muscat once again played an important figure in building the Birkirkara attacks as he pushed forward with the ball before serving Camenzuli outside the box who had his low shot parried by an alert goalkeeper The midfield trio of Agius Fenech and Muscat was gaining an edge over their opponents While Agius was enjoying an excellent day of making countless interceptions Muscat and Fenech were supporting the attack Close to the half hour mark the two midfielders exchanged possession then Fenech served Camenzuli who had his shot ending over Coach Giovanni Tedesco who was continually shouting instructions and motivating his team was forced to make the first substitution ten minutes from half time as goalkeeper Justin Haber suffered a leg injury and was replaced by Ini Akpan As the half time whistle approached Birkirkara threatened for the opener First a free kick by Paul Fenech travelled across the face of goal with Mazzetti failing to make contact A minute later goalkeeper Beglaryan made another important outing to deny Morais on the run From the rebound Rowen Muscat saw his lob ending over At the half time whistle The Stripes headed to their dressing room applauded the numerous supporters The Second Half With Ulisses forced to increase their tempo after the break they went close to surging ahead two minutes into the second half Irakliy Geperidze awarded David Khurtidze space inside the box but his shot flew over from an ideal position Ulisses aggressive start soon faded away as the Stripes regained supremacy On the hour mark Agius stole possession before serving Plut who saw his shot from outside the box hitting the side netting Three minutes later Plut served Camenzuli who had his threatening shot ending over Coach Tedesco inserted a fresh pair of legs in the forward line as on the sixty fifth minute
