    2005 Season 2003 2004 Season 2002 2003 Season 2001 2002 Season 1999 2000 Season 1989 1990 Radio About Schedule Listen Live Contact Us Contact Ryan Camenzuli wins BOV Player of the month for December by Ayrton Galea 6th January 2016 Birkirkara FC Youth Academy product Ryan Camenzuli s electrifying performances as of late has certainly caught the eye of all the Maltese Football followers and the twenty one year old winger has been awarded the BOV Best Player for the month of December It has been a good month for Camenzuli who stepped up his performances and established himself as an inspiring figure for the Stripes throughout the last month of the year During this month he won the BOV Player of the Match twice and scored three goals in four matches Bernard Azzopardi Manager of Bank of Valletta s Birkirkara Branch presented the BOV Player of the Month trophy for December 2015 to Camenzuli who chose id Dar tal Providenza to benefit from the donation associated with this award His goal was the match winner against Tarxien Rainbows as the match ended 1 0 score for the Stripes On the other hand he broke the deadlock in the 3 0 victory over Pembroke Athleta He then sealed the issue with a wonderful solo action goal in the last match that saw the Stripes win with a 3 0 score against Mosta We spoke with Ryan about this award Ryan started humbly by mentioning his team mates I am very happy for winning this award but this is dedicated to them I won this award thanks to their continuous help and without them it wouldn t be possible This award motivates me a lot I was aware that I had very good performances in December but I wasn t expecting

    About Schedule Listen Live Contact Us Contact Edson Zarate signs for Birkirkara Paul Fenech moves to Balzan by Ivan Mizzi 4th January 2016 Birkirkara FC have reached an agreement with Balzan FC to swap midfielders Paul Fenech and Edison Bilbao Zarate on a permanent basis This swap will mean that Fenech joins Balzan while Zarate will be joining Birkirkara FC Zarate has signed a two and a half year contract just a few moments ago The Stripes started the January Transfer Window by completing their first major signing Zarate is considered among the best foreign midfielders on our island who had spells with Qormi and his last club Balzan respectively He is mostly known for his hard work in midfield and his leadership abilities on the field Edison was brought to Malta by Qormi in the 2011 2012 season where he had an excellent season He made twenty seven appearances all from the start and scored six goals In the following season he moved to the New York Cosmos before joining Balzan last season This season he had fifteen appearances and scored one goal On the other hand Paul Fenech joined our Club in the 2007 Summer Transfer Market from

    2001 2002 Season 1999 2000 Season 1989 1990 Radio About Schedule Listen Live Contact Us Contact Mr Drazen Besek appointed as Club s Head Coach by Ivan Mizzi 29th December 2015 Birkirkara FC have appointed Mr Drazen Besek as the Club s Head Coach Mr Besek who hails from Croatia has signed a contract with our Club till the end of the season and he will be holding his first training session this evening Mr Besek was born on the 10 March 1963 and the fifty two year Coach was last guiding Croatian s Club Osijek in the country s top division He had started his coaching career with the Croatian club Varteks in 1998 and he went on to guide another two Croatian clubs Cakovec and Slaven Belupo He also enjoyed positive spells outside Croatia as he was at the helm of Zaglebie Lubin in Poland Drava Ptuj in Slovenia and Shanghai Shenhua Hunan Billows Wuhan Zall and Tianjin Quanjian in China before moving back to Croatia to guide Osijek In 2011 he was the assistant Coach of the China Under 23 s National Team Mr Drazen Besek will be taking over the Club s Senior term after the
