    will be marked as Not Approved and you will have to check your PayPal account to see if the order was approved To set up PayPal Classic you must do the following Log into your Cart32 Administration Click on the Shopping Cart category Click the Payment Subcategory Click on the PayPal tab Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Enable PayPal as a Payment Option Enter your PayPal ID in the field labeled PayPal ID Email Make sure the URL field is still https www paypal com cgi bin webscr This should never be manually changed Select what currency you will be using from the dropdown list Save Also note that in order to use this option you will have to set Show to Yes for PayPal on the options lists choice from the Shopping Cart Payment Payment Choices tab PayPal Express Checkout PayPal Express is your typical Check out with PayPal button located on your cart summary page This option will redirect to PayPal when the customer clicks the button There they can finish out their transaction Cart32 recommends using PayPal Express because it talks back with the cart and lets you know in real time whether or not the transaction was approved To set up PayPal Express you will need to do the following Log in to your PayPal account and go to My Account Profile More Options tab From here choose API Access from the Account Information List One the next page you will need to click View API Signature under Option 2 It may show as Request API Signature You will need to copy some of that information into your Cart32 Admin to get it working You will go to the Shopping Cart Payment PayPal tab and fill out the following fields with the appropriate information

    all at once using the Export Client Data feature in version 6 x or later of the cart This export will move all of your settings custom configurations orders etc out to a text file which can be imported later EXPORTING To do an export follow these steps Log into your Cart32 Web Administration Click on the Settings category Click on the Export Client Data subcategory Click the button labeled Start Export Now to start the export Once the export finishes you can click the link to download your export file Your export could take a considerable amount of time if you have a lot of previous orders Consider deleting old orders if this is the case Note It is best if you do not rename an export file as the naming convention is often used later when trying to import Common Error If the export progress is stuck at a certain percentage after several minutes the cart administrator will need to delete the file named ClientCode Export Progress txt where ClientCode is the name of your Cart32 client code stored in the Cart32 folder on the server IMPORTING To do an import follow these steps You will need to take your export file details on how to do that above and put it in your cgi bin cart32 folder where your Cart32 software is installed Log into your Cart32 Web Administration as the Administrator The dropdown list on the right hand side is called General Administration Open that dropdown list and choose Import Client Data There will be a link on the page that loads titled Do Import Now with the client code you exported earlier to the left Click this link to start the import BE ADVISED THAT DOING AN IMPORT WILL DELETE AND OVERWRITE A CLIENT S

    of the fields can be changed by using the up and down arrows on for the right side Select the Export File Type Generally Append data to one file is usually the better option because it limits the number of files created Enter the server file path to the directory you want to export the order information Make sure this directory is secure Choose the export format for the text file The default is a file delimited or separated by commas If you d prefer a different delimiter you can select custom delimiter from the Export Format dropdown and then enter the custom delimiter example a semicolon in the Custom Delimiter textbox The Export Orders section also has the option to set Order Item Information to export to the same file or to a separate file depending on your preference To enable order item export Check the Export Order Item Data For This Client Choose the fields you d like to export Select the Item File Type Generally Append data to one file is usually the better option because it limits the data to one file rather than creating a file for each order Enter the filepath to the directory you want to export the order item information Make the filepath and filename the same as the order information file if you d like all the data to export to one file If you are hosted by Cart32 you will need to contact support for the correct path Exporting Previous Orders Now that you have the order export setup the export file will be created automatically for all new orders If you wish to export order data for previous orders this can be done by doing the following Go to the Sales Orders tab Select the orders to export by
