    Edition Cart32 now offers its own merchant service to process credit cards For more information on the Cart32 Merchant Account please give us a call at 417 865 1283 You will also need to sign up with a third party payment processor aka gateway or merchant account to process payments Cart32 does not directly process credit card payments If you have a payment processor click here to see if it s on our list of compatible companies To setup your payment processor follow these instructions Go to the Cart32 web admin On the Enterprise tab select the Real Time Card Processing tab Check Use Real Time Credit Card Processing Select the Auth Name from the drop down list and wait for the page to reload Fill in the required fields with the information provided by your processor such as Merchant ID password PIN etc Click Save To test the settings we recommend you place a test order through the cart You can use Visa card number 4111 1111 1111 1111 and any expiration date beyond today s date This card number will be declined but will be accepted as a payment method Some payment processors will return an error code

    the Quickbooks web connector and setting this to yes will automatically update your QuickBooks account when an order is placed If Yes export only approved orders This will cause only approved orders to be exported This is useful for when you want to exclude failed credit card orders from getting into QuickBooks QuickBooks Preferences Export Type This one will need some explaining There are five 5 options but only three 3 actual file types Each of these types correspond transaction types within Quickbooks For additional information on what is included with each type of transaction please refer to your QuickBooks documentation Deposit This is useful when you collect your payment at the time of the sale and the money is going directly into a bank accounts as is often the case when you are using real time credit card processing Invoice The invoice method is most often used when a promise of payment is exchanged for goods or services In Cart32 terms this would be most useful when you accept credit cards but not in real time or if you use actual invoices Sales Reciept A sales receipt represents a transaction where payment is made at the time of the order but the money has not been deposited yet A classic brick and mortar example would be cash sales at a point of sale terminal For Cart32 purposes this can work for credit card sales as well since there is a delay from when the charge is processed to when the money is actually deposited There are two additional options available but they simply use a combination of other file types CC Orders Deposits Other Invoice CC Orders Sales Receipts Other Invoice These two represent the most accurate options from an accounting stand point if you are using real time credit card processing and accept other methods of payment as well Bank Account Name This one is used only if a Deposit type of file is being created and is the name of the bank account as specified in Quickbooks that the funds are deposited into Deposit Name This is the name of the deposit it will show up in journal entries and is something of a memo field Deposit Category This is the default category account for deposits if AccountingCategory is not specified in the form code of individual items Leave blank if you want the part number to be the category Invoice Category This is the default category account for invoices if AccountingCategory is not specified in the form code of individual items Leave blank if you want the part number to be the category Tax Account The name of the account used to hold taxes payable Tax Agency The name of the tax agency taxes are paid to Needs to match Quickbooks Sales Tax Item The Sales Tax Item tells QuickBooks how much sales tax to compute for a given sale This will need to match the one setup in QuickBooks if it is used Append Options

    Verisign Payflow pro v3 as your selected payment processor in Cart32 and are receiving declined credit cards in your orders it may be due to a failure in Verisign s ability to authorize your account information Diagnosis Follow these steps to check your orders and see if you are getting the User Authentication Failed error Login to your Cart32 web administration Click the Sales Category and then the Orders Subcategory if they are not already showing Choose one of your most recent orders that has been declined most recent order is best and click the edit link In the order pop up window that opens there will be a field under the Payment Information section called Auth Info If the response to the right of it says User Authentication Failed then the steps presented below may solve the problem Solution Follow these steps to make sure you are using the correct information for Verisign Payflow Pro v3 Login to your Cart32 web administration if you haven t already Click the Shopping Cart category Order Processing sub category and Real Time Card Processing tab Make sure the option to Use Realtime Credit Card Processing is selected and the Payment Gateway is set to Payflow pro v3 Fill in the User ID field with the User ID given to you by Verisign Your password should already be set but just to make sure you may want to re enter the password Verisign has provided you by clicking the Click To Set password link For Partner enter the Partner name provided to you by Verisign Sometimes it is not necessary to have the Partner entered this depends on your account settings with Verisign For Vendor enter the Vendor name provided to you by Verisign This is often the same as your User ID
