    Events FAQ Divisions Continental ContiTech Toggle Navigation New CONTI AIR NITROCOAT ContiTech has added a new coating plate to its product range The CONTI AIR NITROCOAT plate is equipped with a new bright and compressible layer making it ideal for UV and water based coatings Quensen Druck Verlag GmbH Co KG in Hildesheim tested the plate when printing our Christmas card General Manager Thomas Quensen and Volker Wendt the area manager responsible at CONTI AIR discussed the testing of the new coating plate on site The plate was built into the coating unit of the SM102 Heidelberg printing machine as a printing plate with a Christmas motif plotted out Because of the new characteristic of the top layer it was an experience to plot the stars in the Christmas motif but it worked outstandingly well ThomasQuensen reports Relief depths of up to 1 60 mm allow excellent application of the coating and prevent varnish from building up at the edges How does the new coating plate differ from other products The built in bright compressible layer enables excellent application of the coating The high dimensional stability also ensures excellent reusability A particular advantage of the new CONTI AIR NITROCOAT coating

    Applications PURE PRINTING Converting Center News Press Releases Service CONTI AIR Worldwide Exhibitions Events FAQ Divisions Continental ContiTech Toggle Navigation A Major Celebration 50 Years of ContiTech Northeim ContiTech s Northeim location which is home to the Elastomer Coatings business unit celebrated its 50th anniversary in October along with 6 000 employees and their families ContiTech Executive Board Member Hans Jürgen Duensing emphasized how much the company has changed in the last ten years ContiTech Northeim has stood up to the competition It has learned to become more international and has invested a great deal in innovation and environmental conservation He added that this had resulted in not only more jobs but also higher sales and profits the best way of ensuring a site s survival and an essential requirement for further investment in the future The most important investments currently include construction of an environmentally friendly power station with a combined heat and power system at a cost of around 6 million From February 2015 it will supply the ContiTech location with electricity and useful heat Moreover each year millions are invested in modernizing systems machinery and buildings Continental acquired the plant from the rubber shoe manufacturer Elconia along
