    FirstEnergy s utilities learned that JACO Environmental would no longer be able to administer our Appliance Recycling Program As a result we have suspended the program Scheduled appliance pickups have been canceled and customers are advised to contact their local waste management facility for information about responsibly disposing of appliances We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue as quickly as possible For more information about rebates as part of this program please review the following frequently asked questions Q Can I still cash my rebate check from JACO Environmental A If you have received a rebate check from JACO Environmental please do not cash it All outstanding rebate checks distributed by JACO Environmental are no longer valid and an attempt to cash it may result in bank fees You may destroy this check and we will contact you to issue a new rebate payment as quickly as possible Q Will FirstEnergy reimburse bank fees associated with an invalid rebate check A If you have been charged a bank fee for attempting to cash an invalid rebate check we apologize In addition to honoring your rebate for participating in the program we will reimburse you for any bank fees you ve been charged for attempting to cash an invalid check from JACO Environmental Q I have not received my rebate check when can I expect it A If you have not yet received a rebate check from JACO Environmental rest assured we will honor your rebate for your participation in the program and appreciate your patience as we resolve this issue We will be contacting you as soon as possible with further information regarding your rebate payment Q Will FirstEnergy s utilities offer this program again in the future A The cancellation
