    October 1 July 1 February 3 January 1 News 02 June 2009 Muse Kick Off World Tour In Support Of New Album Muse announce details of a UK tour in September to coincide with the release of their new album The Resistance The band is currently producing their fourth studio album in Italy which will be mixed with Mark Spike Stent Massive Attack U2 Oasis Last week the band unexpectedly revealed the album s title via their Twitter site This short tour will kick off at the Sheffield Arena on September 4 th and finish with two nights at London s 02 Arena It goes without saying that fans can expect an ambitious and powerful show from these three friends from Teignmouth in Devon remember they were the first act to play the newly built Wembley Stadium back in 2007 The 140 000 lucky fans in attendance were treated to the band rising from the middle of the venue floating acrobatics giant exploding balloons and of course an unbelievably spectacular set from one of the most ambitious live acts in the world today The Guardian s reviewer was moved to comment few are more suited than MUSE to take on what Pele described as the cathedral of football in a rare 5 5 review Muse is also very proud to announce that they will be the first band to ensure that the ticket price for this tour is set The tickets will cost 41 50 and this will include all booking fees no fan will pay anymore than this price regardless of which outlet they buy from and no secondary ticket agency can sell these tickets for more than the set price MUSE UK TOUR September 2009 Friday 4 th September Sheffield Arena Saturday 5 th September Liverpool Echo Arena

    They formed General Fiasco in early 2007 and played their first gig at the Glasgowbury festival near their home town on July 26 th of that year More shows quickly followed and within the past twelve months they have supported the Wombats One Night Only The Pigeon Detectives and The Enemy and played at Oxegen Belsonic and Reading Leeds Festivals At the end of last year their debut single Rebel Get By was released on the 10 th November 2008 as a seven inch single through the hip London based label Another Music Another Kitchen now sold out A second single Something Sometime was released in March to coincide with another huge Uk tour and gained them more radio and press support The band were invited to play at the 2008 Reading Leeds festival as part of the BBC Introducing line up and their appearance was picked by NME as one of the ten hopes for the near future Since then they have been part of the BBC Introducing line up at the Electric Proms in October 08 and Rebel Get By received plays from Zane Lowe Steve Lamacq Colin Murray Huw Stephens John Kennedy and Sara Cox and was playlisted at Xfm They even got an invite to perform an acoustic set at Jo Whiley s prestigious Little Noise Sessions Not bad for an unsigned band from Belfast The guys are currently finishing their debut album in N Ireland and head out all over the UK this summer They will appear at several festivals including Download and Glastonbury and have just announced their biggest headline show to date at the Ulster Hall in Belfast on the 12 th September 2009 1 June DUNDEE Doghouse 2 June LIVERPOOL 02 Academy 2 4 June CARDIFF Barfly 5 June WAKEFIELD The Escobar
