I am going to expect to remain well Doing all the right things give me the best chance to staying in recovery I ve noticed when I go about my day with an attitude of expectancy I meet the exact people I am supposed to meet and get the results I am supposed to retrieve from my workday My day seems easier I worry less have less stress and just down right enjoy my day more WOW So give this attitude of expectancy mindset a try Start your day expecting everything to fall into place Here s the defining moment though just because you have an attitude of expectancy you still need to hold up your side of the bargain Your efforts impact your results as much as your attitude Remember efforts and attitude go hand in hand Now for today I need to have a challenging conversation with one of my children this afternoon I ve thought about this conversation a lot talked through it with my therapist prayed about it and prepared a script which I will practice before having the conversation Above all I will go into this conversation with the attitude of expectancy trusting that it
