    also known as Manual white balance is one of the best tools for getting natural colors at relatively shallow depths We put this powerful feature right at your fingertips Just point the camera at a white or near white surface and press a single pushbutton on the back of the housing Our proprietary circuitry does the rest no scrolling through menus required Custom white balance requires a reasonable amount of available light and is usable up to approximately 50 ft 15 m When diving deeper and or shooting an external light simply press the provided Auto White Balance pushbutton to return to the camera s automatic mode Viewing options The camera s large viewing screen can be viewed using the External Mirror featured on the side of the housing Included image reversing circuitry horizontally flips the image in the camera s LCD so that its reflection in the mirror appears correct left to right Camera microphone is disabled when the circuitry is turned on The side mounted External Mirror is hinged to fold against the housing for travel A magnified Super Eye Viewfinder is provided for enhanced viewing of the camera s optical viewfinder through a diving mask The camera requires that the LCD monitor be closed to use the optical viewfinder This is a limitation caused by the camera not the housing Color correcting filter The included UR Pro Color Filter provides color correction in tropical blue water with available sunlight up to 80 feet 24 meters A Green Water Filter Product Number 6441 81 is also available to achieve more natural tones in green water settings Color correcting filters may be used with either automatic or manual white balance Lighting Adequate light is key to crisp colorful high definition underwater video Powerful lights are usable for both day and night diving Wide angle macro The housing port is threaded allowing the use of 67mm threaded macro lenses Due to the nature of the camera s native lens 67mm threaded wide angle options are not compatible with this installation The optional Flat Port for Raynox HDS 680 Product Number 9306 1 replaces the housing s standard flat lens port to allow the attachment of Raynox DCR 730 DCR 731 or HDS 680 wide angle lenses These lenses attach to the front of the camera and are not removable underwater construction Special polycarbonate blends allow us to create an extremely strong clear enclosure We believe there s no substitute for inspecting the actual o ring seal once your housing is closed Our signature clear construction lets you see that the housing is watertight and dry before you enter the water and provides full view of the camera while you re diving Polycarbonate is fundamentally corrosion resistant for easy maintenance year after year Like every Ikelite product our housings are designed built and tested in the USA We use locally sourced top grade materials Our housings are built by hand and individually tested for fit function and waterproof integrity The average
