I don t promote anything that I don t see myself with one exception if an event promotes the use of a bike as transportation solution then I have to spread the word and give them the thumbs up And so I talked to Lindsay and told her that the only way I will post her play is if she puts on her website bikemetro com and metro net to encourage people to drive not only in cars to see her play but to take alternative transportation I think Linsay posted the links in 5 seconds She is very excited about the idea of encouraging people to walk or ride and she also offers a coupon for a drink or a treat at intermission for anybody who doesn t bring the car to her performance after all human power needs a little extra fuel Expressing Motherhood June 20th 8PM June 21st 7PM at The Electric Lodge in Venice Tickets are 20 Cash Only at the Door Ride your Bike or Take the Metro Bookmark on Delicious Digg this post Recommend on Facebook Share on Google Share on Linkedin share via Reddit Share with Stumblers Tweet about it Subscribe to the

  • 24-Hour Service at Metro on Weekends? – NOT TRUE! /  illuminateLA
This is a super way to get the drunk drivers off the road at least those who live near Red Line stations and get cars off the street There is gridlock all over Hollywood just from cars trying to find parking and the freeways are clogged up from people coming to Hollywood from all over the city Downtown will just be a short 12 minute ride away at nights when we like to attend the Galleries or friends parties and we won t need to worry about missing the last train That is awesome And finally I don t have to worry about missing the train when I head back south from my performances in North Hollywood or when we attend some great Theater events in the NoHo Arts District Of course there are some unanswered questions like what if I have a monthly pass or a day pass Will I be able to ride back home from my job without having to pay an extra 8 So stay tuned we ll find out and write about it here Bookmark on Delicious Digg this post Recommend on Facebook Share on Google Share on Linkedin share via Reddit Share with Stumblers Tweet about it Subscribe to the comments on this post Print for later Bookmark in Browser Tell a friend Posted 01 May 2008 by Enci in Everything Bike Metro Shh Spring Speakeasy Earthquake Safety Tips Part 1 4 Comments Add Yours Fred Camino 05 01 2008 22 28 1 Hey Enci I don t know if you made this post seriously if not forgive my thickness but Metro L8Nite was an April Fools joke I made to trick MetroRiderLA readers last month So unless Metro took my prank and turned it into reality then you ve kinda been April Fooled
