    to an album In the Finder select the folder that need convert Add the extension suffix album for this folder A warning may appear Are you sure you want to add the extension album to the end of the name There are two buttons on the warning message box Click the one named Add The folder icon changes its appearance to an album package icon in the Finder CAUTION when creating an album in the Finder by adding album as an extension to the folder s name make sure either that the folder is empty or that it contains JPEG files photographs only Any files that are in the folder that are not jpeg files will prevent the folder converting to a JetPhoto album JetPhoto Studio cannot directly convert a folder with multilayered directories to a JetPhoto Studio album e g JetPhoto Studio cannot convert an iPhoto Library folder into a JetPhoto Studio album Open albums Once the album was created a file package with the album name should be generated on the computer disk There are three ways to open the album package 1 Double clicking the album package icon in the Finder will launch JetPhoto Studio and open the album ready for use 2 Activate JetPhoto Studio choose menu item File Open then select an album package after navigating to wherever you store the JetPhoto albums You will see a button named Open in the dialog box Click this button and the selected album will open in the JetPhoto Studio ready for use 3 Activate JetPhoto Studio and in the start panel that opens click an album name listed on the right hand side or if the album is not listed click the button at the bottom which is named Open other albums The desired album will then open in the JetPhoto Studio ready for use A list of albums recently opened appears in the start panel and the top menu File Open Recent simply go to the desired album in the list and open it ready for use If you need clear the recent album list please choose menu command File Open Recent Clear Menu Album Window Layout At first sight JetPhoto Studio has a simple window to view the album and browse digital photographs in thumbnails The extra panel is a side panel attached to the main album window When an album is open in Mac OS X the side panel looks like a drawer so it is referred to is as an extra drawer in this document View pages in album window The photographs in the album may be viewed in various ways The album window contains a couple of tabbed view pages to present photos and edit album contents The photo thumbnails of this album can be browsed in Thumbnails view page the full view photo can be shown in Detail view page The geotagged photos can be pinned in Map view page Users can click buttons on the top bar to switch pages

    a new photo file from Finder or external applications and drop it into the Detail view the photo file will be replaced with the new one Options for RAW files JetPhoto Studio allows storing camera raw files in album packages The raw files can be Nikon NEF Canon CR2 and more others A dialog box will appear when importing RAW files you can select one of the three options then Select to copy or move external raw files into JetPhoto albums and JetPhoto will always automatically create a JPEG copy for each imported raw file If to import raw files is only for making Flash galleries or publishing web albums it s usually unnecessary to keep the original raw files in the album Then you just need select the option Make JPEG copies only Importing from Camera After connecting your digital camera or memory card reader to the computer JetPhoto Studio can download photos or other digital contents from the camera Create a new album or open an existing album Click Import from Camera action button or choose menu item File Import Photos From Camera In the dialog box select a connected camera or memory card reader If you need only download photos captured after a recent date you should select a specified date in the calendar and select the checkbox Don t download files older than the specified date The default setting is for downloading photos captured today Decide whether need to download raw or video files and set more options if necessary then click button Continue to download files into the current album In the start panel you can also find another Import from Camera button Click the button can create a new album for downloading all photos and digital contents from the connected camera shortly Importing from iPhoto Library JetPhoto Studio Mac version enables users to import photos with comments and keywords from iPhoto library Create a new album or open an existing album Click Import from iPhoto action button or choose menu item File Import Photos From iPhoto Library Then iPhoto application will be launched and JetPhoto will connect the iPhoto through internal AppleScript All iPhoto albums will appear in a list in which select an album to import and then click button Continue to import photo files with comments and keywords into the current album Files in Album After photos or video clips were imported into an album the related files should be stored in the album package Information of files The information of these files are listed You can select a photo or video item in the album window and select the Information tab in the right side extra panel For a common Image item normally only a JPEG file is saved in the album package For a Camera Raw item besides the raw file a JPEG file copy is also saved in the album package The JPEG file copy is required to quickly view the image and make Flash web galleries For a
