  • Query to a table with a "date" type column return values as if the column was datetime - MapDotNet
I query this table through MDN the result has the format as if it was a datetime column 8 29 2011 12 00 00 AM I want it to return only the date I m displaying the results in a datagrid kind of like in your iSDK Tweet Responses 1 Likes Highest Vote Latest Oldest Accepted Answer By Russell de Grove Thursday July 12 2012 08 39 PM permalink 0 Because we go through ADO Net data column values we retrieve are first converted to the Net type that the connector associates with the SQL or other database data type and then converted to a string SQL date and datetime both convert to Net DateTime objects So I m afraid you ll need to clean the date string up yourself This is especially tricky because when you request types to be returned with the query results they are also the Net type string If you know that ALL your dastes can have time stripped off that s easy enough but if only some of them do you ll need to hard code the behavior or use layer metadata The reply is currently minimized Show Your Reply Please login to post
