sections of singletrack all have the grin factor You ll definitely get the urge to give the other trails a try Warning you will encounter a number of rocky sections including rock steps with a drop of 20cm 8 or more Trail Reviews Temtwr Trails Sunday this was decided on because it looked short and technical and allowed us to warm the legs from the aches of the previous day The first section was essentially the first single track of the Beast so it gets your heart pumping again The second section was a lovely smooth fast single track that took you right through the heart of the forest with little effort and big smiles with some swooping berms to finish This was followed by an easy road and uphill forest road section then you joined the last of the Beast single tracks that leaves you pumped and wanting to do more but our time had run out Steve Beynon from Rhiwderin The first sections of single track on the Temptiwr trail were excellent and left us grinnning and wanting to do that section again which we did Overall though were impressed with the amount of work that had gone into making the trails The trails were really quite dry for the amount of rain the area had over the last week so hats off again to the trail builders I rode parts of the trails on a 16 year old Kona Hahanna with rigid forks and it was all rideable The cafe area was excellent good value and the staff extremely friendly 10 out of 10 We ll definitely be coming back and keep up the good work Pete from Exeter Use the contact form to submit your trail reviews Coed y Brenin Facilities Bike Hire shops and guides

Trail PDF Click to download Black Trail Grade Severe This predominantly open and flowing trail offers long sweeping descents through spectacular scenery The new section of the Pink Heifer is something special Once at the bottom expect to climb and then descend the Beginning of the End the most technically challenging section of the trail Warning you will encounter a number of rocky sections including rock steps with a drop of 20cm 8 or more Trail Reviews As a weekend rider with only 3 hrs to spare I was delighted with the range of terrain MBR offered the rivers in full spate were an amazing backdrop Even better it seemed I could bring friends and family with a range of skills and interest and hope to keep them amused enough to do it again Those sections where the trail was a streambed amazingly were rideable even if they did test out the efficacy of 10yr old rim brakes Jolyon from Brighton A great test of skills and equipment the MBR trail is not the ride in the park that some reviews seem to allude to If you are in any less than intermediate skilled you will find this trail a struggle as my partner did That said having got past the initial rocky areas there are some fantastic sections of flowing singletrack If in any doubt go out on the family trail and up the hill to Pink Heifer it s a blast Glenn Kerns from Chester Use the contact form to submit your trail reviews Coed y Brenin Facilities Bike Hire shops and guides Accommodation Other stuff to do Family Rider Getting here Weather Events Your Stuff Y Ffowndri Skills Area Yr Afon Temtiwr MBR Tarw Dragons Back Beast of Brenin Cyflym Coch MinorTaur Afan Forest Park Coed Llandegla

forest s iconic trail and one which you won t want to miss A technically challenging ride with twisty rocky sections fast flowing descents and views across to the Snowdonia range It s a Top Dogger Warning you will encounter a number of rocky sections including rock steps with a drop of 20cm 8 or more Trail Reviews I did the ride on a decent hard tail and suffered blurred vision on some of the rapid descents This trail is definitely better suited to full suspension bikes This is still a great route though with some very nice technical sections as well hell for leather blasts The new section at the end Pins and Needles reminds me of watching Kick Start as kid much fun was had but I would think twice about doing this section in the wet without body armour The facilities at the new visitor centre are fantastic James Morgan from Cheshire Great ride with mixture of technical descents rocks mud and roots in abundance Climbs short and steep on fire roads A bike busting blast Tim and James from Coltishall Norfolk Use the contact form to submit your trail reviews Coed y Brenin Facilities Bike Hire
