  • Meet Lori Peterson - Mountain Land Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation
my kids and boyfriend What brought you to Brighton Mountain Land Initially I came to Mountain Land because they had a contract in a SNF 3 blocks down the road from my home We have since left that building but I stayed with Mountain Land Brighton because of the cohesive bonds I have made with both management and co workers and our core value caring company culture Why did you go into Therapy I was an athlete so I spent a lot of time in the training room in high school That was when I first became interested in helping others recover from injury Throughout college volunteer work and internships I discovered that PT was much more than sports injuries Helping others is rewarding and I enjoy assisting facilitating others in regaining independence What are some of your favorite books movies and TV shows Well I really like the Wiggles and Thomas the Train That s all we watch at my house when my son is not at school Hahaha My favorite TV show are NCIS Criminal Minds and Person of Interest I do read but mostly educational stuff Right now I m tackling Wheat Belly What is your favorite food Carnitas nachos What you would need on a deserted island Water mirror and pocket knife Anything else you want to tell the world There are a lot of changes being made in the therapy world lately My recommendation to all newcomers is this don t chase the almighty dollar It usually comes with a price Search your soul and figure out why you became a therapist develop good relationships with your co workers and find rewards in doing what you do best Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published Required fields are marked Comment
