instead of buying a new DVD player we got the Blu ray player and replace the DVD player that is on the fritz with the working DVD Player The LG BD 300 was my choice because it actually had a light up display unlike others that I have looked at The boot time is also very fast The player was also 2 0 Firmware I have read other reviews of other players that when upgraded to the newest firmware fail on reading any all DVDs or Blu ray The player also comes with a network and usb connection This is part of the standard for 2 0 BD But the nice thing about this player is that you have the ability to stream NetFlix to it and watch them on your TV Very similar to the iTunes Rental feature with the AppleTV Right now the NetFlix was not a major selling point because I do have an AppleTV and very really rent movies but when we do it is only about once or twice a month Over all I am very excited about this player I purchased 2 blu ray discs Pixar Shorts and Planet Earth We have watched the Pixar Shorts and it was incredably clear and the colors were very vibrant Next we will be watching Planet Earth From what I have heard is that the footage is amazing and with Blu ray it is just that much more Add new comment Western Digital Caviar Green Details Published 18 March 2010 Hits 97 The Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EACS 1TB SATA 3 0Gb s harddrive is quite and has low power consumption which makes it great for HTPCs or general media storage I am currently using 2 in a Guardian Maximus from NewerTech and the combo has been working flawlessly for 2 weeks now I had a little problem with mis matched drives but fixed that with order a matching drive The 1TB drive will format down to 931 5Gb and that is plenty of storage for what I use it for The Guardian Maximus uses matching drives in RAID 1 Mirror to keep your data safe I would not recommend using these drives a the primary boot disk because the speed is only 5400rpm I have been waiting for about a year for the price on these drives to drop to a reasonable price for me and I snagged both for 99 99 from Newegg when they were on sale Add new comment MTX Lolita Low Profile Subwoofer Details Published 18 March 2010 Hits 94 I have just purchased a MTX Lolita Low Profile Subwoofer My current sub is a beast and was showing signs of failure had it for about 10 years The Lolita from the reviews that I have read is a pretty decent sub for the design limitations of being a low profile design My reasoning behind getting a low profile sub is because I am slowly trying to get rid of my big

so that when the battery was completely charge I could program it After about 5 hours I started to program the remote TV Reveicer DVD Player Digitial Cable Box all went smooth Then I got stumped by the AppleTV I did some research on the web and others have used a docking station entry for their AppleTV it worked and everything has been programmed I have not fine tuned the remote yet right now basic on and off of all the systems and volume channel etc have been all set to the proper component Next step is to modify the display on it with the most common buttons that we use on the original remotes for the equipment Update 12 5 2008 I have been using the Harmony 720 now for about a month now and my only grip about it is that the battery life is poor I know that it boasts a rechareable battery but I have had to recharge the remote twice so far since I have been using it not including the initial charge My other remote was a Sony Brick and I used that for about 3 years and changed the batteries in it 3

  • Bontrager 29-1EXP MTB Tire
my Trek Stache First impression of the Bontrager 29 1EXP is overall very positive The tire is very grippy on pavement and hardpack Also on some lose gravel The tire rolls very quick on pavement and the hardpack stuff Through the loose stuff the tires slip a bit but very manageable My local bike store owner rode on these tires for a while and highly recommended them I agree I

  • Giza Brake Pads
up really well I had to true the rear disc as well but that was pretty straight forward The brake pads that I got also need to install on the front are Giza for Shimano M666 785 985 They are a copper and ceramic sintered construction The price on them seemed very reasonable The only thing is that one set came with a new spring and the other did not

  • 1UP USA Fat Bike Adapter Kit
kit was very fast Received the kit with in a few days of ordering It was a a bag of parts and no directions I took a quick look online at their website to take a look and see where the new parts would go After looking at the pictures and laying out the pieces it was very clear where they needed to go I started to disassemble the rack but there was one stubborn allen head bolt that would not budge with the use of a hand allen wrench So I went out and purchased a cordless impact driver and this fix that issue quickly Once the rack was reassembled everything worked as expected The arms worked to clasp around the tires of my fat bike With the installation of the adapter it will also fit a normal sized tire as well which is good because I still have my Trek Stache 8 mountain bike With this purchase I also ordered a new security lock that will lock through the rim of the bike I will have to see if the new metal rod will fit my other locks as I do not want to have to carry two

  • 1UP USA Hitch Bike Rack
here in the USA and even better yet right in my town What a great way to support a local very local business The second reason is that the rack is very solid build well From the other racks that I have seen look very cheaply built and would easily fall apart to break This one from 1UP USA is build solid and has very little play when it is in the hitch The third reason is how it holds the bikes Most if not all other racks that I have seen hold the bikes by the frame and the 1UP USA racks has a platform for the bike and is held by the tires Seems to be a much better design Also purchased was an add on rack to allow for two bikes to be on the rack at anytime The installation of the rack to the hitch and the add on piece is very quick They say that it is like a 10 second attach time They are not kidding very fast to install the rack to the hitch and the add on rack My only complaint and it be a small complaint is that it is heavy
