    Solutions Designed by MageeWP Themes Ryan Olivier Hoser has finally settled down in the United States after teaching for several years in the Dominican Republic and South Africa Also a very successful high school and collegiate athlete Ryan now shares his experiences while teaching and coaching football in the small Oregon town in which he was raised Ryan resides near Mt Hood with his wife Maria 15 month old daughter Seyla and 3 week old son Dawson X Derek Kamahoahoa Double D had followed ORT for many years before he was finally recruited for his ability to persevere perform selflessly and show no fear His passion to paddle has been developed through surfing and combat training Derek has recently started a new business and devotes his free time to his two sons who are 6 and 8 years of age X Caitlin Brink Caitlin grew up on the shores of South Lake Tahoe where she excelled as a high school athlete and outdoor adventurer Timber met Caitlin in Missoula Montana where he recruited her to be a lifelong partner and best friend Caitlin teaches second grade and resides with Timber in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains with their dogs Ruby and Lucy X Jeffery The Maverick Jeffery The Maverick Steehler has always stayed in the Pacific Northwest and is a well rounded adrenaline addict His interests include long boarding kayaking rafting photography snowboarding and mountain biking And the list is always expanding He was introduced to kayaking at 8 years old and ran his first waterfall at 12 He goes to Mark Morris High School in Longview Washington and is an A student His Dad is who introduced him to kayaking and started his whitewater lifestyle He is also very competitive and loves competition He has done all the competitions he can afford to go to and always tries to enter more than one category He also loves to meet new people and hopes to see you all on the water soon X Shane Port Chop Shane Conrad Pork Chop was born and raised in Albany Oregon He grew up fishing and running drift boats on the North Santiam River He began rowing whitewater at age 14 and did everything he could to immerse himself around whitewater sports At age 17 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and joined the infantry After 3 tours of duty in Iraq and 4 years of being stationed in the Mojave Desert Shane decided it was time to come back home to Oregon and the rivers he grew up on Upon arriving back in Oregon he picked up right where he left off and trained as a guide on the White Salmon River After completing his training he joined the Oregon Rafting Team and competed in the 2009 Whitewater Rafting National Championship s in Deep Creek Maryland Shane spent the next 4 years volunteering with a local charitable organization that provided therapeutic and adaptive programming to wounded and disabled veterans Shane
