    I sat next to Aoife First I saw a duck I loved the Leprechaun s cave There was a cat a dog a cow too There was a puppy Bruno I loved the bull I loved the indoor playground and the outdoor playground It was a fun day My School Tour Yesterday June 14th we went on the school tour First we had small break then we got a spin in a boat We saw an old combine harvester I got to rub a snake and a snake s old skin The weather was glorious I had sun cream on The snake I got to rub was an American bull snake He was harmless The bus left at 9 20 We had to be in school for 9 00 I loved it when we got to look through the floorboards I saw a lot of light I never knew you measured horses with your hands We saw a horse called Buddy He was about 16 hands high I had a fantastic time Our School Tour We visited Leahy s Farm First I went on a boat ride Then I fed the ducks and ducklings Later I put a snake around my neck I went to Leahy s Farm My favourite animal was the snake and he sticked out his tongue On the way home we sang Two Little Boys My favourite place was the playground by Grace McSweeney School Tour Yesterday June 14th we went on our school tour We went on a big bus It was a glorious day First we went on a boat then we played in the playground We saw a goat and a kid Then we saw sheep and lambs It was such fun at Leahy s Farm We saw a horse We saw a

    Keating said the Mass Mrs Marian O Callaghan was the class teacher Everybody worked hard to prepare for the special day Prayers were learned and hymns were practiced each day since Easter Many boys and girls had specific duties on the morning of their communion The parents helped the children with prayers readings and outfits were purchased during the months beforehand Fr Keating was the celebrant in Ovens Parish Church
