America mocks punk and its hypocrisy followed by Disco Queen mocking the dance rave scene Reply Jan 13 2009 23 45 Silhouette says This is fun to read Reply Jan 14 2009 10 15 alexander says It s not my best pos album but it s so different that I cannot do else but bow to pain of salvation s rare talent Reply Jan 16 2009 19 29 Nenya says images8dream I never considered anger the one factor that made Him jump On the surface it seems like there is only blind fury but dig deeper and you find that there is an underlying cause called Frustration Frustration caused by the destruction of all that He loves Frustration and Anger are two different things Frustration can result in Anger absolutely but it s not the only emotion that He feels as I think becomes quite clear throughout the 2nd side of the album I think hurt is what eventually caused Him to commit suicide rather than anger What I read in your post is that the cure lies essentially within Him we are supposed to look at He s anger and see how while he is right about some things that anger destroys him in the end While from my perspective I think we should look at our society and realize that this is what we are causing We are creating an environment that drives people to commit suicide or randomly kill people at a school or fill in the blank Trying to fix Him will not solve the actual problem because He isn t the problem We are As long as we hide behind He was just twisted and angry and do not ask ourselves WHY was He so angry Why did He feel that frustration nothing will change Enough of my rantings Personally I like this album a lot because I can relate to it very well emotionally Reply Jan 20 2009 04 55 images8dream says Nenya I really enjoyed your comments on my thoughts I agree with you about the anger frustration hurt I was kind of thinking that but as I was typing impromptu I think I used the word anger as a catch all phrase which is misleading However you developed that frustration hurt idea rather nicely Having been suicidal myself in the past I agree that it is hurt that drives most people down that road At the same time I don t think that the character He is completely blameless for his decision I at least believe that at the end of the day I am responsible for my actions and I am the one who has to live with my decisions If some evil demon appears and tells me that unless I shoot my own child all the children in the world will die and I shoot my child or not then I am still responsible for what I did The situation is terribly unfair but I did the deed I do
