    about a journey please email Emily panoramicjourneys com Jade is off to Burma on Sunday to join the Fire in the Sky journey for a more extreme Bonfire Night She says I will also be meeting our guides visiting hotels and restaurants and researching new activities and routes This will be my third visit to Burma and I m very excited Karina is off to Mongolia mid November for a BBC shoot and to do some filming herself She is hoping to make it to a camel festival that has just been announced in Gobi Altai province Keep an eye on our facebook page for Jade s and Karina s photo updates The Long eared Jerboa The Jerboa sequence from David Attenborough s new series Life Story was filmed 2 summers ago in the Gobi with Panoramic Journey s help The Long Eared Jerboa really is an extraordinary animal and has made it into on to The Zoological Society of London s Edge of Existence programme which highlights and conserves one of a kind species that are on the verge of extinction We are really proud of our contribution to this extraordinary BBC One programme Our Mongolian team wrapped up the season with a team building session 24 members of PJUB staff attended at the Khenti refugio including the local nomadic family we work with and played team football had a fire wood collecting competition and plenty of singing around the camp fire Our PJUB team Our Autumn Festivals Trip has just returned from Bhutan One of our guests Sue Tanner had this to say about her trip The trip was amazing We loved Bhutan and our guide Kuenga was excellent and our driver Sangay fantastic So many great experiences it is difficult to know where to begin loved the walks and the festivals especially the fire dance We had some great temple and dzong visits and visited a home in Ura which was special We enjoyed the food and our guide always made sure that we had spicy extras Nothing was too much trouble for Kuenga and he was very knowledgeable I was wondering what the criteria for the Wanderlust Guide award are as I think he is definitely a strong contender and the best guide we have ever had She also did an extension in India to Ramthambore National Park in Rajasthan Tiger spotting was beyond my wildest dreams and a really emotional experience I couldn t believe that we saw 2 males 1 female and her 3 cubs We ve had a request from a reader who enjoyed our recent post Top 5 Documentaries Made in Bhutan and suggested a similar one about Mongolia We love getting feedback from you and would welcome any ideas you have for future posts so do let us know what you d like to read on the blog Have a great weekend BBC Life Story david attenborough david attenborough life story Destinations travel show harrods magazine jerboa PJ calendar Did you
