    all of it From behind me Grandpa put the coffee cup in grocery bag Problem solved She is sharp We have a routine when I get out I look over the seat and say See you later alligator She says I m a frog we laugh Today I say see you later she waits for it a little smile eyes focused frogigator surprise her face lights up Laughing she repeats frogigator Walking up to my apt I can hear her talking turning I look back her window open she hollers see you later frogigator It is a new word our word our goodbye A wholly bear at Nisqually back in September We put it off the pavement over by some trees This year the frog is a Penguin Off to Boo Bash at The Hands on Museum I am a proud grandparent I am amazed by her intelligence compassion My best friend Carl died on Halloween I got the call when Inara was visiting I start to cry immediately she is hugging comforting me empathy I am a lucky man Due to ankle problems I couldn t go trick or treating with her a hug and a smile that s ok grandpa get better Peace pjc Photographic Art Halloween 2009 Filed Under Adventure B W Portrait Colorful Mind Kids Love Olympia Wa Uncategorized Tagged With Humanity Olympia Portraits Simplicity X Black and White Fine Art Photography November 3rd the Life of an Artist and a Free Print November 3 2015 By Peter J Crowley 2 Comments Contest is over Spend a moment with the images and thoughts Since my senior year at Coventry High I have lived life as an artist seeing pondering communicating with visual words and verbal images Early travels to N Vt a friends old house An ad in Burlington Free Press a model to create emotions Ad read call after 10 am at 8 30 we took the phone off the hook 75 calls and I had booked Christine funny I can t remember names but 42 tears later hers pops right into my head at 5 10 with expressive eyes the session produced wonder Image made on Kodachrome But before Christine the muse was born on Cosey Beach E Haven on my daily beach walk I found this young women we talked I created We became friends and worked together a few more times 1971 or 72 I realized I could mirror my soul through a muse The road wasn t always smooth often feeling as old as my Beetle Bug I plugged along too often needing a mechanic Doctor to keep me running The Muse sometimes a women sometimes a flower but The Muse is me There were some Kinks along the way Ray here doing an intro to Demon Alcohol drinking a Heineken Sad memories I can t recall Dance theater performing arts the muse moved Time space reflections real surreal abstraction and identity joined the muse in the dance of youth and

  • Life’s Big Truths, Words Words

    shop and grandpa and I will go and have a scone So that s the deal two hours ago she thought a scone sounded good She is sharp thinking ahead Another scone thoroughly enjoyed by her and the chair at Batdorf s We arrive there are four kinds of scones A selection made she heads to find today s comfy chair She uses her best indoor voice to Howl AHHwooo I howl back Sitting she eats her scone it explodes all over most finds her mouth There is a fireplace she curls up on the rug and digs into her backpack An orange my turn Actually it is a tangerine She agrees I start to peel but only a start I can do this A napkin laid out to keep the peels on the peels and fruit become a butterfly arranged on the floor are the feet tasting the napkin The peels become a humming bird Grandpa their wings move very fast yet the bird doesn t move Yep Cleaning up we take the peels to the bus bin I can reach not quite the peels cascade to the floor and our laughter fills the room We clean up The food court after lunch at four your feet rarely touch the ground Two pieces of pizza and lets go to Menchies Frozen yogurt and toppings Arriving she shows me all the varieties grandpa you take these little cups to taste She seems to be heading behind the counter the clerk says Inara knows how it is done The theme from Cheers in my head It continues playing as she realizes someone is sitting at her table The new swing set if you can t be running it is the next best thing Like the speed in the mall life races along An interview at Kindergarten is she ready confident Asked her name she says Inara followed by But my Wolf Name is Tancern She is there starting in fall A book of puzzles at the market 10 minutes before leaving at check out we are done the first five Each day a buffet of new adventures Photographic Art Filed Under Adventure Adventures with Grandpa Eyes of the child Faces Food Frivolity Kids Olympia Wa Tagged With Great Food Olympia Small Business The Editing Process Time Travel February 20 2016 By Peter J Crowley 3 Comments Youth still seeking a ladder to my tree fort Early 70 s on the way back from a Stratford News assignment only in my twenties but looking back to tree climbing secret places Some many images experiences so much life Mountain from Manchester Ct days A concert in someones yard with Mountain offering free dogs He never slept and always smiled Once on a 19 Foot Daysailor with a couple of friends a foggy day off Bridgeport mountain eating cashews can I have one They re electric Sure eat a couple and drift on a windless day into the now colorful fog When a Texaco
