1975 was located in the Saffron Bakery Cafe on the ground floor of Stanley Plaza Saffron Bakery Cafe Inside Saffron A pinball in the corner It is absolutely amazing that this pinball was still functional almost forty years after release It is also unbelievable that there is still such a pinball in HK o The two flippers were powerful and most of the parts on playfield were in working condition except that the right outlane diverter gate did not work The Capt Fantastic It was HK 20 for two games which was quite costly However don t worry about it because it was a 5 ball game and it was easy to get replays As a result I could use only one HK 20 token to play it for more than two hours In addition I managed to win five credits once in a single game Five credits were won in this game After playing pinball we had a walk along the seaside Stanley is a beautiful place for both overseas and local visitors Stanley seafront Stanley seafront We ate a late lunch at an American style restaurant and our fun day ended at 4 30pm Main Street USA restaurant

As usual the meal was delicious and did not disappoint us Tendon restaurant Late lunch Toy Sapiens is not located on one of the main streets so it took me some time to find them Toy Sapiens There were two pins there Batman Stern 2008 and Iron Man Stern 2010 Although I saw these two pins in the American Pool in Hong Kong before I was still excited Why It was because they looked like brand new machines in excellent working condition In addition the replay scores were quite low and so it was not difficult for me to get replays o The Iron Man near the entrance A closer look at Iron Man The Batman in another corner of the shop A closer look at Batman It seems that these two pins are really just part of the decoration of the shop So they didn t get much play and could therefore be kept in good condition According to my Japanese pinball friends they seldom go to Toy Sapiens to play the pinballs This was because Toy Sapiens is not an amusement centre and they could not get too excited when playing the games I strongly agree with this

missed complimentary hotel breakfast So we directly went to our first pinball location of the day Ebara Game Corner in Hatanodai Hatanodai is in a remote district outside the main city so we needed to take a train from Shinagawa to Oimachi first and then transit to another Tokyu Oimachi line The journey from Oimachi to Hatanodai Arrival at Hatanodai station A map of Hatanodai Outside Hatanodai station We already felt very hungry when we arrived in the Hatanodai We chose a noodle restaurant Shiryu for our brunch Shiryu restaurant Luckily it did not disappoint us In fact I like having Japanese noodles in Japan because most Japanese style restaurants in Hong Kong cannot make good quality Japanese noodles even though their chefs come from Japan Inside Shiryu Brunch Ebara Game Corner was a small amusement centre with only one pinball a Straight Flush Williams 1970 Ebara Game Corner The Williams Straight Flush Although its working condition was not very good I was still excited about it Why Because this pinball was made over 43 years ago I regarded it as an antique rather than a pinball I stayed there around thirty minutes and left at noon for my next
