    per day an annual bag limit of 6 Immediately upon landing and retaining a King Salmon nonresidents must enter the species date and location in ink on the back of their sport fishing license or harvest record The Southeast Alaska king salmon sport fishery is managed under provisions of the Southeast Alaska King Salmon Management Plan 5 AAC 47 055 This plan prescribes management measures based upon the preseason abundance index determined by the Chinook Technical Committee of the Pacific Salmon Commission The preseason abundance index for the 2015 season is 2 57 which equates to 81 353 king salmon allocated to the sport fishery The Southeast Alaska King Salmon Management Plan prescribes the regulations listed above when the king salmon abundance index is above 2 00 For further information regarding sport fisheries in Southeast Alaska contact the nearest ADF G office or visit Alaska Department of Fish and Game A nonresident annual harvest limit and recording requirements apply as follows May June 2016 a non resident may keep 2 Kings per person per day an annual bag limit of 6 July August September a non resident may keep 1 King per person per day an annual bag limit of 6 Coho Salmon Chum Pink Sockeye Halibut Yellow Eye 16 inches or longer 6 of each species daily with no annual bag limit 1 daily may be retained it will be 43 inches or less or it will be 80 inches or larger With no annual limit The nonresident daily bag limit is two non pelagic rockfish only one of which may be a yelloweye possession limit of four fish one of which may be yelloweye with an annual limit of one yelloweye rockfish Nonresident anglers must immediately record all yelloweye rockfish harvested in ink either on the back of their sport fishing license or on a nontransferable harvest record Rock Fish Ling Cod Northern Southeast area Sitka Sable Fish Black Cod All non pelagic rockfish caught must be retained until the daily bag limit is reached Limit is 5 daily 1 Ling Cod between 30 to 35 inches may be retained and 1 Trophy Ling Cod of 55 inches or greater may also be retained Nonresident bag limit is 4 fish 4 in possession no size restrictions 8 fish annual limit which must be recorded in ink on the back of the sport fishing license or on a harvest record at time of harvest harvest record required Remember Preservation of all species is important to us for the health of present and future fisheries and for your enjoyment your grandchildren s future enjoyment Please feel free to call us with questions at 907 738 3322 for the ADF G limits on any of these fisheries What To Bring We do provide rain gear but for that custom fit you may want to bring your own Waterproof footwear is recommended Your camera with lots of film Layered clothing is recommended as temperatures will vary from 45 to 80 degrees REMEMBER
