4 2007 3 20 am Category Unfiled Tags gamespot twilight princess wii zelda  So Twilight Princess is officially under my belt It took me over 62 hours of gameplay to beat but I ve finally done it watching the end credits now That final fight with Ganon is one of the most intense 30 45 minutes of game play I ve ever been through Nonstop physical torture in the form of hack and slash with the Wii remote 4 damn boss fights worth of battle and he keeps changing forms and techniques throughout ghost in possession of Zelda s body giant boar creature Ganon on horseback with ghostly cavalry protecting him and Ganon melee as one of the hardest sword fights of the game The ending was nothing tooo special whoopdee doo Midna is a beautiful princess I thought Link had it in for Zelda but that game was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish Only a few moments where puzzles were simply too confusing spoiled it at all and they were few and far between and thankfully Gamespot has very good walkthroughs when you re just that stumped you can t handle it anymore Now I ve got

liking it For larger project management and for general powerhouseness not to mention platform independence I don t think it can beat Eclipse once you ve installed Aptana RadRails SubClipse and whatever other plugins you require but for out of box goodness it s damn fine It s also the most easily customizable bestest simple text editor I ve used Must play more On a related note I ve been trying to install Scribes on my Ubuntu box but to no avail I run Gnome desktop in Ubuntu which is a GNU project so the post title really is coming together like planetary alignment don t harp on me for mispronouncing or indicating pronunciation of GNU I m taking artistic liberty here It seems it has certain requirements which are not easily attainable to mere mortals like me I ve not swum in the Linuxian Ocean regularly in years and manual package management and version juggling was never one of my strong points Automation rules Give me Synaptic or apt any day If anyone knows how to make Edgy load Scribes so I can give it a test drive please let me know This guy who wrote Scribes seems to be quite the character So the fact I can t get Scribes working is the Nooooo bit I also discovered lastnight I can t quite recall how or why ponderous the QDB Awesome way to waste time and burn some calories laughing I annoyed my wife with laughter Not good But worth it Anyway back to the Internet Channel 6 Comments thynctank Posted April 11 2007 at 9 15 pm Permalink The zoom Kicks Ass It s so much better than before The hidey toolbar is as kinda like the Mac Dock with auto hide enabled or to be fair

suggested grabbing shots of her example sites with Paparazzi This is an awesome Mac app a coworker discovered several months back and I had forgotten about until just now Anyhow so she had snagged some shots I was trying to give her ideas on what to do with some images used therein Simple things came to mind resizing cropping etc I didn t know the best simple image editor for Mac was thinking of Seamonkey or Gimpshop but have never used these two I proposed she check out one of the now numerous online photo editors out there None of which I had used More Web based image editing goodness after the jump So we both set to work trying out various editors She tried phixr which she was none too impressed with from what I gather I set to work turning this image into this image using a tool called Picnik I really liked the interface of Picnik as well as its significant integration with Flickr and apparently Picasa Web Albums though I don t have an account there I heartily recommended this to Karen and she has since made use of it more images to come The coolest thing about Picnik to me is that I didn t even have to sign up to get to work I was able to import my photo from Flickr tweak and re export to Flickr all without logging in to Picnik itself That s impressive And while it doesn t yet have layers masking or alpha channels why would you really use an online tool for these more complex tasks anyway As I write this I ve just discovered that Picnik also has a FF IE extension bookmarklet that allows web image clipping to send a full shot of a page
