Longboard When did you start surfing I started surfing when i was very young i was younger than four years old One day i saw and old man surfing on the beach that i was fishing with my father This man was Peter Viertel From the moment i saw him i knowed that i wanted to do something like that and after i insist on a lot of time to my parents they bought me a Bodyboard and i was there with my sleeves and my float Why did you decide to start longboarding Because one day my friend Iván Uroz was bored to see me with a bodyboard and he made me try the magic of a Bear longboard that he had hung in his house that was my fir st experience catching and riding a wave on a longboard and it woke me something that was latent This happened on Sunday and on Monday I had already ordered my longboard Photo Silox What s your favorite spot Definitely my favorite spot is El Bu I have surfed in many places but like surfing in Málaga and with my friends is something that I have not felt anywhere A spot that has impacted me is El Frontón in Gran Canaria island and also Santa Marina in Somo But certainly there are two places that impacted me one of them is when i took a bath in the Carrefour at Salinas Longboard Festival few years ago and in Punta Paloma when i took a bath with my dear friend David Gonzalez Photo Silox Tell us your experience as a surf instructor It is a very rewarding job i think that i am a little strange because i try to teach the passion I feel for this sport I love to teach people with disabilities it s an example of overcoming i see people like my student Carmen she is blind and she started surfing with me and today she surfs alone That is priceless and makes me see life differently What are your sports projects for this year I want to continue training i am practicing new moves that rarely seen in Spain This year i will participate in the largest possible number of tests in the Galician circuit today is the best longboard circuit and is the most committed to this discipline And i also continue with the Longboard Clinic with my partner Ricardo Fernández Palomeque we are preparing new themes and it s having a lot of acceptance Always thanks to sea mean for you The beach and the sea gives me a wonderful feeling of freedom When things go well you can always go surfing to make things go better If things go wrong the sea is always there and so I like to take care and respect the sea At the same time sea teaches you to sacrifice the sea helps us be more humbles It is my second home and a good school Your blog ESNIFA SALITRE is dedicated to all people who respect the sea who lives and enjoy it where have you enjoyed with the sea I have special affection for a beach in my area when I was little I went with my parents it s quite sheltered from the sea the wave is stretched and smooth it is not a particularly good wave for shortboard Some describe the worst wave of Ferrolterra I call it the corner of happiness there is surf quietly in the gray days of winter and brings me good memories And out of galicia if i have to say a wave is Lobos surfing on that island i will never forget it What is your measure surfboard favorite Your favorite surfer I alternate shortboard with longboard it depends on sea conditions My favorite board always with very little rocker very flat and 3 thick Favorites are the surfers who surf to live
