us over the last couple of weeks and before that in the run up to the trip itself We all really felt like we had an immediate support network in the Bay Area which is a very powerful but often intangible source of confidence A particular thanks also to Melissa who tirelessly went about organising meetings and calls and managing our busy schedule working through double bookings and facilitating us in any way she could Thanks so much Melissa Best of luck with your next group of international entrepreneurs and hopefully the ASV initiative is run again next year I think with continued investment into Irish entrepreneurs the relationship between Dublin and San Francisco is only going to get stronger and the direct flight doesn t hurt those odds either Stay Informed with Our Newsletter Email US Market Access Center Silicon Valley PAD 1370 Willow Road Menlo Park CA 94025 primary mailing address info usmarketaccess com RocketSpace 180 Sansome Street 4th Floor San Francisco CA 94104 USA 1 650 376 0082 Get in Touch Name Email How did you hear about us Which Program Category Are You Interested In Which Program Category Are You Interested In Programs for Startups Programs

Jacinta were terrific I ve been in front of Cisco and Sonus the latter I d been working with in London and was struggling to move them to next stage meeting their head of innovation here has rubber stamped the opportunity and I hope to have heads of agreements drawn up in the coming weeks for an OEM arrangement The Cisco head of innovation has given me a task around WebRTC and if I can fulfill the opportunity is vast Also got to meet Adam O Donnell a former work colleague of David and Jacinta this guys is awesome he sold his security business to Sourcefire which was subsequently acquired by Cisco for 2bn He was blown away with my technology and has introduced me to his mate who works for a VC in NY who supports businesses at my stage I m meeting him in NY early next week Those were the significant highlights which have my immediate attention but there were 5 other positives and its not over yet If I can get Prith in Accenture to buy into my story and have UC security added to their cyber security portfolio then I couldn t have done better So thanks to you and your team for making this trip a success these truly are exciting times for Pbxwall All the best Paul Stay Informed with Our Newsletter Email US Market Access Center Silicon Valley PAD 1370 Willow Road Menlo Park CA 94025 primary mailing address info usmarketaccess com RocketSpace 180 Sansome Street 4th Floor San Francisco CA 94104 USA 1 650 376 0082 Get in Touch Name Email How did you hear about us Which Program Category Are You Interested In Which Program Category Are You Interested In Programs for Startups Programs for Government Programs for Universities Corporates

me the best offer was the local mentor based in Silicon Valley Trying to break into a new market is obviously very difficult To have the US MAC guys helping with introductions and contacts was a major benefit 3 What were your expectations when you accepted their offer The expectation was that they would help us set up customer meetings 7 in total over the period that we were there My main focus was on sales not raising money so the meetings were sales focused 4 How was the US MAC actually contributing to your project during the program Were they really helpful in what you needed the most What was the result of your cooperation I worked very closed with our mentor He was really helpful We got a small sale as a result of one of the meetings that was set up This was obviously extremely pleasing The other US MAC members also kept in contact through the basecamp project management tool 5 Was there any follow up from US MAC Have you kept in touch with them following the program Any subsequent offer Very minimal I have kept in contact with our mentor from time to time but mainly from a personal point of view No subsequent offer 6 Overall how do you rate the program you have taken part in Would you do it again Do you have any other comment For trying to get into the US market I think the programme is very beneficial and yes I would do it again Because of the local contacts that they have it s a great way to get a friendly introduction to a potential customer or investor Looking back we made one mistake I should have worked more on trying building a dream customer list BEFORE

our business model in order to understand the target market and in order to make our offer understandable During this period we had weekly conference calls In this phase the added value was mainly to have a point of view coming from professional and expert people By the way our tutors were really very good 3 What exactly was the offer of the US MAC What was in their proposal as their added value to your project First of all we wanted to know the market and we wanted to learn The idea to get some customers was not realistic in so short time So I can say that it was a great experience very useful we transferred a lot of thing in our company So now we are better focused for the italian market and we are ready to try again in the USA very soon 4 How was the US MAC actually contributing to your project during the program Were they really helpful in what you needed the most What was the result of your cooperation See point 2 and 3 5 Was there any follow up from US MAC Have you kept in touch with them following the program Any subsequent offer We finished the program and we would like to follow next steps but Alfredo could explain you their offer better than me 6 Overall how do you rate the program you have taken part in Would you do it again Do you have any other comment It was really a great experience we learned a lot For sure I would do it again Stay Informed with Our Newsletter Email US Market Access Center Silicon Valley PAD 1370 Willow Road Menlo Park CA 94025 primary mailing address info usmarketaccess com RocketSpace 180 Sansome Street 4th Floor

Guide to the Bay Area Blog Contact Kevin Kavanagh I found the USMAC program to be hugely beneficial The team Chris Alfredo and Melissa were very helpful throughout I was given a great mentor who had great good connections in relevant companies My mentor also gave a lot of insight into the Valley and worked with me on our proposition and pitch style The Access Silicon Valley ASV program was the catalyst for us deciding to open a sales office in San Francisco and I look forward to working with USMAC in the future Stay Informed with Our Newsletter Email US Market Access Center Silicon Valley PAD 1370 Willow Road Menlo Park CA 94025 primary mailing address info usmarketaccess com RocketSpace 180 Sansome Street 4th Floor San Francisco CA 94104 USA 1 650 376 0082 Get in Touch Name Email How did you hear about us Which Program Category Are You Interested In Which Program Category Are You Interested In Programs for Startups Programs for Government Programs for Universities Corporates Programs for Investors Comments Home Programs for Startups Programs for Governments Programs for Uni Cor Programs for Investors Partners Tips References Contact 2016 usmarketaccess com All rights reserved Privacy Policy
