    will receive new strength They will fly as high as eagles They will run and not get tired They will walk and not grow weak Isaiah 40 31 NIrV For more details click here for this month s Parent Cue for 252 Find this month s Children s Ministry Newsletter here Summer Camps Two Camp Opportunities 1 Half day from 9 a m to noon Summer Bible Camp Cave Quest Bible Camp is open to all children who are going into Junior Kindergarten up to Grade Five The cost is 25 per child 15 for additional children in the same family 2 Half day from 1 to 4 p m Sketch and Draw Camp A professional artist will lead the children in sketching skills and fun art projects This camp is open to children who are going into Grade Two up to going into Grade Six The cost is 110 per child There are limited spaces available max 15 and acceptance will be on a first come first served basis Preregistration is required for both camps The form for the morning camp is available here Click here for the Sketch and Draw Art Camp Nursery We are happy to provide warm loving care each Sunday morning for children 0 24 up to 30 months while parents attend church The Nursery a large cheerful room is located on the lower level and is equipped with everything we need to care for your child We provide careful attention to each child to ensure their safety and comfort We introduce toys and puzzles and books for the children to enjoy and gradually prepare them for promotion to the Preschool class What if a child needs their parent Parents are asked to pick up a numbered pager from the Centre Hall so they can be called if their child needs them Where does my child go on Sunday Morning Each Sunday there are opportunities for children to sing worship and learn in a loving environment Through the use of the Orange curriculum for children from Preschool to Grade 5 we teach the stories of the Bible and encourage children to apply what they learn in their daily lives Children who are in Grades 1 to 5 are invited to CHORISTERS our children s choir at 10 a m Weekly all the children except Nursery join the congregation for opening worship at 11 00 a m This gives the children an opportunity to experience and be a part of the corporate worship of the church After the children s prayer in the sanctuary children from Preschool to Grade 5 go with their leaders to age appropriate large group worship First Look for preschool and Kindergarten 252 for Grades 1 to 5 Following large group the children go to small groups which are divided into a Preschool b Junior and Senior Kindergarten c Grade 1 d Grades 2 and 3 e Grades 4 and 5 To Encourage Parents We believe parents are the spiritual leaders of

  • A Tradition of Music - YPBC
    Tradition of Music Yorkminster Park is synonymous with magnificant music Whether it s the choir accompanied by the majestic Casavant organ or the congregation lifting their voices in reverent hymns of praise vocal and instrumental expressions of faith are an integral part of the Yorkminster Park experience The senior choir under Organist and Director of Music William Maddox enjoys a reputation as one of the best congregational choirs in the city of Toronto The youth choir is directed by Dawn King and comprises youth between the ages of 10 and 19 years old The choir presents a lovely range of artistic selections that are purposely chosen with the young voice mind Yorkminster Park presents a series of free organ recitals at 12 30 pm every Wednesday from September through June The performers selected by our Director of Music William Maddox come from around the world Our choir has recorded a number of collections of hymns and religious music that are available commercially Selected anthems are available online in MP3 format Special Services of Music Yorkminster Park is renowned for its special seasonal concerts led by our Director of Music The quality and dedication of the music ministry at YPBC is
